A.I.P.I.: Following the Breadcrumbs
Hess Gallery
Thursday, Jan. 22 | 3:30 – 4 p.m.
A live visual art performance by Michelle Sylvestre
On a dark, foggy January afternoon, A.I.P.I. steps out of the shadows to present her case. Working through a methodology of relationality, the Artificial Intelligence Private Investigator traces uneasy connections between artificial intelligence, water, knowledge and accountability. She asks for the audience’s help following the breadcrumbs to sort what’s real from what’s been spat out as data, like a gambler at a craps table. The investigation remains open, and the truth, like the fog, doesn’t lift easily.
