Join the Faculty of Fine Arts in a new research creation course and learn how to create engaging scholarly work in dynamic audiovisual formats.

CINE/NMED 3850: Video Essay Production
Mondays, Wednesdays | Noon-1:15 p.m. | Labs Wed. 2-2:50 p.m.
Instructor: Dr. Aaron Taylor
Pre-requisites: New Media 1000 & second-year standing

This course teaches students to use video essays as a tool for advancing scholarly positions in an audiovisual format. By integrating media analysis with video essay production methods and techniques, students will gain a deeper understanding of academic visual rhetoric.
