As the Russian invasion of Ukraine rages on, it gets harder to really understand what's happening on the ground. Join us as we speak with activist and Kyiv-based think tank director Nataliya Melnyk as she explains the situation in Ukraine and what the future might hold, and answers your questions about the war in Ukraine.

Nataliya Melnyk is the Executive Director of Bendukidze Free Market Center (BFMC), an independent Ukrainian think tank founded in Kyiv in 2015. She has researched political identification in Ukrainian society at Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies, and has worked as a development Manager at a number of organizations. She graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy with a master’s in European Studies and a bachelor’s in Political Science.
