Bios:
Growing up, Alex Kusturok followed his mother Patti to Old Time dances around Manitoba, where he was enriched with the Métis fiddle from a very young age. By age seven, Alex's passion for music became apparent, and today Alex makes his living as a performer and educator.
Brianna Lizotte is a fiddle player from Sylvan Lake, Alberta. She grew up in a household where music was played whether it was from home videos or kitchen parties. She currently attends MacEwan University in the Bachelor of Music program and is expected to graduate next year.
Both Alex and Brianna supported the Métis Truth and Reconciliation delegation who visited Pope Francis in Rome in 2022.
