Sayde Evahnenko, a U of L education student, is going to Greece to work at a refugee camp at the end of April. She is raising funds by creating delicious homemade pies. Evahnenko is joining a team from Alberta that will volunteer to help refugees arriving at the island of Lesbos for two weeks. She is taking orders for homemade caramel apple, blueberry and peanut butter candy bar pies. Cost is by donation. Orders are being taken until April 14. More information can be found on Facebook.
