Fourth-year Addictions Counselling students will be hosting a free event to shine a light on the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health. This event will include education through engaging activities, informational (displays) & inspirational videos along with community resources, free coffee/snacks & prizes. Attendance to the event will give you a chance to win:
1) Introductory Climbing Lesson for 2 at Ascent Climbing Centre
2) 1 Class Pass & Fresh Pressed Juice at Heart Space Yoga Studio
3) Pronghorns Athletic Pack

This event is for ANYONE! Students, University staff, community members are all welcome! We all have valuable information to share and gain! We wish to take a step towards bridging the gap between misunderstanding a greater sense of compassion for those who suffer from addiction and mental health problems in our community. Why? Because we are all human, deserving of love, understanding & empathy from one another.
