This informal workshop will provide you with some information and collegial conversation about preparing to teach your classes, as well as give you a chance to meet other instructors and some of the staff and faculty associated with the Teaching Centre programs. We'll start the day with muffins and coffee at 9:00 and conclude before noon.

Topics for this informal, collaborative, workshop include building your course outline and syllabus, creating an effective classroom environment, student engagement strategies, using technology in the classroom, using the "Moodle" learning management system, and an overview of services offered by the Teaching Centre.
