Music at Noon Series

In this concert, Tony Park explores the standard and new repertoire for clarinet and bass clarinet.
Tony Park is a clarinetist currently freelancing in New York City. His primary teachers include Charles Neidich, Simon Aldrich, Guy Yehuda, Peggy Mezei, and Stan Climie. Tony holds B.Mus. from University of North Florida, M.Mus. from McGill University, and holds an Artist Diploma from Queens College (City University of New York).
Tony is the bass clarinetist of New York Wind Orchestra, and the principal clarinetist of Queensboro Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared as a soloist with Calgary Arts Orchestra, Queens College Chamber Orchestra, Queens College Baroque Ensemble, and McGill Contemporary Ensemble.
A Calgary native, Tony has spent the last few summers at Mountain View International Festival of Chamber Music and Song, making music with the members of Calgary Philharmonic, Edmonton Symphony, Red Deer Symphony, and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
Tony is very excited to be back in Lethbridge. He hopes to have a chance to revisit some of his favourite places, including Red Dog and Echo Books.
