Last month, the Government of Alberta announced the establishment of the Rural Medical Education Program Training Centres, enhancing physician training across the province. Soon, aspiring medical professionals will have the opportunity to complete the entirety of their University of Calgary medical degree at the University of Lethbridge, allowing the province to attract, train and retain physicians where they are needed most.
Join representatives from the Universities of Calgary and Lethbridge as they sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) formalizing this innovative medical education partnership that will benefit southern Albertans now and for generations to come.
