Come join us in the Innovation Zone to build some adaptive technology!

Makers Making Change is partnering with Agility to host a three-part series of adaptive events. In this event, individuals will learn about the Makers Making Change program and build an assistive switch. This assistive switch will help to adapt a toy to make it accessible for kids and adults with low motor skills. All toys and switches will be donated to local community groups. Full build kits, toys, tools and step by step instructions will be supplied to participants.

More about the organization:
The guiding vision at Neil Squire is to achieve economic and social inclusiveness for all people with diabilities. To support this vision, Makers Making Change leaverages the capacity of community based makers, disability professionals and volunteers to develop and deliver affordable Open Source Assistive Technoligies. The assistive devices library is an open source collection of assistive technology solutions which you can build yourself or request to have built by their network of volunteer makers. Take a look at the library here.
