The ReadWorld Foundation, founded by U of L professor Dr. Glenda Bonifacio, is hosting a luncheon to raise funds to ship used books to schools in disaster areas in the Philippines. Tickets for Lunch For A Cause are $10 each and seating is limited. The lunch will be held at Assumption Church Hall located at 2405—12 Ave. S. Contact Glenda by email to purchase tickets.
