This week, we take the next step towards our COMPETITIONS and PRIZES. We discuss smart contracts on Etherium blockchain, their importance to businesses and how to compose them in Solidity. You will have an opportunity to understand and write your own first smart contract. Experts will present examples and then help you out during lab activity.

Dr. Robert Benkoczi: A Hands-on Tutorial on Developing Smart Contracts on the Etherium Network
Abstract: Participants will be introduced to smart contracts on the Etherium platform. By the end of the workshop, attendees will write, deploy and test their first smart contract on a simulator running from their browser. To gain the maximum benefit from the workshop, participants are requested to bring a laptop/tablet with a web browers (preferably Google Chrome) installed.
