Learning from Artificial Intelligence: A tale of using computers to better diagnose movement disorders.
Guest Speaker: Arthur Luczak
Day/Date: Tuesday, March 17
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: SA8002
Description: Behaviour provides important insights into neuronal processes. Analysis of hand movements can give a reliable indication of the degree of impairment in neurological disorders such as a stroke, Parkinson's disease, or Huntington's disease. Here, we will present how using A.I. can provide a reliable assessment of movement deficits and how it can help improve diagnosis and monitoring of neurological disorders. Free parking.
