It’s worth repeating (so I did) is Tara Lynn MacDougall’s MFA thesis exhibition of visual and audio works that use feminist tactics of humour, textual and verbal quotation, repetition, and stratification to raise issues of power and voice related to gender and class.

Tara Lynn MacDougall is an interdisciplinary artist based in Lethbridge, AB. She received a BFA from NSCAD University in 2007 and is currently completing her MFA at the University of Lethbridge. She has presented work in exhibitions throughout Canada and the United States, including the upcoming Impossible Expectations at Hamilton Artists Inc. Her interest lies in a critical and humourous re-evaluation of the art historical canon, and reconsideration of distinctions between standard labour and artistic production.
