The third annual Grow the Future Gala is meant to be a networking event and year-end to the University of Lethbridge Agricultural Students' Society's club year. It will showcase the successes over the last year and a keynote speaker.
This year's keynote speaker is Stuart Cullum, President of Olds College, to discuss the importance of agricultural education and innovation. Stuart is a University of Lethbridge alumni who was an agricultural producer and has since had a variety of positions in the agriculture industry.
There will be a silent auction and raffle table. All funds from the silent auction and additional profits will be going to Ag for Life. Ag for Life was selected because of the important initiatives they are leading in Alberta, including the Classroom Agriculture Program and the Rural Safety Unit.
