Grad Student Workshop - Introduction to Public Speaking

These two successive two-hour tutorial sessions introduce participants to the skills necessary to speak confidently in public. During these two practical sessions participants will receive personal coaching and peer-tutoring in conjunction with ample opportunities to practice their public speaking skills. Please come to the first session with a current event topic (from the news) of interest to you. Participants are expected to attend both sessions, as the second session provides opportunity to further practice and apply the skills learned in the first session. These two successive sessions will be held on Wednesday, Nov 26th and Wednesday, Dec 3rd, 4:00-6:00 pm.
