Faculty Artists & Friends present an evening of great chamber music with faculty Dr. Chee Meng Low (saxophone) Sarah Gieck (flute), and Akiko Tominaga (piano).
This concert presents a combination of solo and trio works. Program highlights include Tribute Trio No. 2, written by the American composer/saxophonist Russell Peterson in honour of four composers: Maurice Ravel, David Maslanka, Ludwig van Beethoven and Dmitri Shostakovich.
Other offerings include Charles Koechlin's Epitaphe de Dean Harlow, Franz Schubert's - Introduction and Variations, D.802 and Sonatine by Claude Pascal.
