Session Descriptions
Teaching at the U of L with The Teaching Centre
This session will provide an overview of key requirements for course design based on student learning policies and procedures, including guidelines related to final exams and major assessments. Participants will then have dedicated time to apply these principles in practice, working collaboratively on syllabus development or other course planning materials.
Intro to the Tri-Agency Landscape with ORIS
This session will begin with a brief overview of the Tri-Agency funding landscape, including subject matter eligibility, shared application components, and general grantsmanship strategies, along with key internal processes. It will be followed by 30–45 minute breakout sessions focused on agency-specific guidance for NSERC, SSHRC and CIHR, each addressing their distinct expectations, review criteria and program structures.
Free to attend. Registration required.
