The Drawing Bar is a hands-on events for grown-ups: one Thursday evening per month, artists and art fans are invited to have a drink and come sketch or doodle at the gallery. The Drawing Bar runs Thursdays from 7 – 9 pm on September 24, October 22, and November 12, 2015.
As well, there will be a Drop in & Draw event at the gallery on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm. The two options for the collection tour correspond with the October Drawing Bar and Saturday Drop In & Draw event. All of these activities are geared towards artists and grown-up art fans, but all ages and skill levels are welcome. Artists can bring their own materials – located in the gallery, please use clean materials such as pencils and not charcoal. As well, the gallery will supply basic materials for visitors.
