Department of Art
Faculty, Staff, and MFA Exhibition
February 7 - 27, 2015
Opening Reception: Saturday, February 7
7 pm • Dr. Foster James Penny Building Gallery (324 - 5 St. S.)
"X represents the alpha and omega of numbers - the beginning and highest. The unknown variable is used to encompass all numbers in infinite combinations and individual varieties. It is broad because X represents absoluteness or the concept of all. The structure and strength of X has the power to enhance and increases the dimension of another. This theme is inclusive because of the sublime nature of X, but the infinite nature allows the inclusion of the varied works of the participants. The name and the concept of X provide power to the work and exhibition."
Artists: Cindy Baker, Michael Campbell, Roy Caussy, Dagmar Dahle, Anne-Laure Djaballah, Jarrett Duncan, Denton Fredrickson, Don Gill, Tanya Harnett, Mary Kavanagh, Shona Laing, Glen MacKinnon, Mary-Anne McTrowe, Annie Martin, Megan Morman, Shanell Papp, Janice Rahn, Desmond Rochfort, Catherine Ross, and Kevin Sehn.
