The past 20 years have witnessed tremendous growth in emotion research across disciplines - psychology, neuroscience, sociology, physiology and even computational sciences (affective computing). A new discipline - affective science - has recently emerged which aims to integrate research from these diverse areas and promote cross-disciplinary collaboration to further out understanding of emotions. Join us for an exploration of contemorary emotion theories and findings from recent emotion research, highlighting their relevance for clinical practice.
