CCBN Open House and Brain Awareness Fair

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

The Canadian Centre for Behavioral Neuroscience (CCBN) is the only research facility of its kind in Canada. Step inside and learn about the ground-breaking discoveries we're making here in southern Alberta.

Each year, the Lethbridge Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience recognizes Brain Awareness Week (BAW). BAW is the global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.

Every March, the CCBN engages in a week-long celebration of the brain for people of all ages. We open the doors to the CCBN and invite the public in to tour labs and meet the scientists. Refreshments and a fun room for kids with educational brain related activities are available.

Everyone is welcome at this free event, which includes free parking.
