Jennifer Bowen is a filmmaker, artist, curator and writer interested in the history of Indigenous art and its makers. As a researcher her focus is on the history of migration and material culture of the Na-Dene (Northern Athabaskan). As a filmmaker Bowen is interested in telling stories of Indigenous people in a contemporary context that respects the traditions of the community in which she works. As an artist she is interested in sculpture that connects to the land.
