Students Join Forces for Year End Exhibition
The University of Lethbridge Department of Art welcomes visitors to its Annual Open Studio Exhibition on April 16, 2018 in the Centre for the Arts. The exhibition highlights senior and advanced student work from the 2017/2018 academic year. It features sculpture, painting, printmaking, installation, digital media, ceramics, and photography. This year, students have covered diverse conceptual ground, while focusing on themes of personal identity, vulnerability, consumption, gender, and comfort.
There will be a welcome table situated on the 8th floor with students present to answer questions and guide visitors. A catalogue featuring the work of senior and advanced students will also be available for purchase. The Open Studio Exhibition is free for anyone who would like to attend.
Contact Shawn Coburn at art@uleth.ca if you would like to schedule a tour of the Centre for the Arts.
Studios will be open to the public from 10 am - 4 pm, and we invite all interested parties to wander through at their own pace.
Please join us for a reception and awards ceremony at 4 pm in Room W817.
Free, everyone welcome.
