Haiti earthquake gathering today

A message from President Bill Cade

We are all deeply touched and concerned by the human toll as a result of the major earthquake that struck Haiti recently. I join with you in extending my very deepest condolences to those impacted by this devastating tragedy.

An opportunity for the University Community to come together to support one another and express sympathy for those suffering is being planned for Thursday, January 28 in University Hall Atrium, beginning at 12:10 p.m.

Students who feel they would like access to counselling may do so by contacting Counselling Services at 403-317-2845. The Employee Assistance Program can be accessed by calling 403-329-2494.

I encourage you to show your compassion and support for the suffering Haitian people by making a financial contribution to whatever humanitarian aid organization you feel appropriate. There is great need now that will continue well into the future.
