The University community will come together Wednesday, May 19 to celebrate the Cade Decade at the Farewell Fiesta event in Markin Hall.

This free event runs from 3 to 5 p.m. and is open to all staff, faculty and students. University of Lethbridge president Dr. Bill Cade and his wife Elsa have been prominent figures not only on campus but also in southern Alberta over the past 10 years. On Wednesday the community will celebrate their many contributions to the U of L.

Food, music and some amusing tributes, along with a toonie bar, are all promised.

To gain access to Markin Hall, people are asked to exit the Students' Union Building through the loading dock doors on Level 1. They will then be directed to the east entrance of Markin Hall.
