UPass for U of L employees

The University is pleased to offer employees in continuing or term academic and non-academic positions the opportunity to opt into the Universal Transit Pass (UPass) program again for the Spring 2020 term. The UPass program offers an environmentally friendly and sustainable program.  

The current cost for the UPass per term is $82.00 (subject to change based on City of Lethbridge Transit rates) and can be paid in person at the Cash Office between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. You will need to provide your University of Lethbridge ID number and picture ID to the Cash Office staff. The fee can be paid by cash, cheque or debit card. The cost will be the same price no matter when you make the purchase during the term, and will not be prorated. 

Terms run through the following months:
Fall – Sept. 1 to Dec. 31
Spring - Jan. 1 to Apr. 30
Summer - May 1 to Aug. 31

When you buy the UPass for the first time, the receipt received at the Cash Office will need to be taken to the Information Technology Solution Centre in TH218 to get your ID card required to ride Lethbridge Transit.  Once you have this ID card, you will not have to do this step again. The UPass card will be activated at 10 p.m. each night on the day of purchase.  The UPass will expire at the end of each term if payment has not been made for the new term.
