University Library closure — Saturday, May 20 through Monday, May 22

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

Dear members of the University Community,

Due to the University’s current challenges with cooling many campus buildings, including the University Library, and with the anticipated high temperatures over the weekend, the University Library will be closed from Saturday, May 20 through Monday, May 22, inclusive.

The library will reopen again on Tuesday, May 23, at 8 a.m. The 24-hour study space will remain open and accessible, but conditions there will likely be uncomfortable as the days get warmer. There are cool spaces, such as Science Commons, that will be available over the long weekend. The library’s electronic resources will remain available. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause.

The University Library remains open Friday, May 19, until 4 p.m., as previously scheduled.
