University of Lethbridge statement on suspension of Dr. Anthony Hall

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

As has been publically noted by Dr. Anthony Hall and subsequently reported by media outlets, the University of Lethbridge seeks to clarify that on October 4, 2016 Dr. Hall was suspended without pay by the University of Lethbridge pending an internal review into possible violations of the Alberta Human Rights Act.  The University has suspended Dr. Hall in accordance with the Post-secondary Learning Act of the Province of Alberta.

The University has taken immediate and active steps to ensure that the suspension of Dr. Hall will not impact or disrupt the studies of the affected students of the University of Lethbridge.

As there is an internal review currently underway, the University will not provide any additional commentary at this time.
