Registration information for Undergraduate students and a Registration Guide for Graduate Studies students is available online at https://www.uleth.ca/ross/registration
Registration begins March 17th. Individual registration dates are scheduled between March 17th and April 5th. Registration dates are determined by the number of credit hours successfully completed – the greater number completed, the earlier the date of registration is assigned.
Here are a few important notes about registration:
- In order to register, all outstanding fees must be paid in full, including those for Spring 2016.
- Register by April 5th, to gain priority access to program course requirements.
- In order to be eligible for wait-listing, students are required to register during their assigned early registration time period see Academic Advising contacts for more information on wait listing.
- Registration for a course with related components such as labs or tutorials, requires that all related components must be selected in order for the course registration to be completed.
- If registration in multiple sections of the same course occurs, registration in the first section selected will be retained. Subsequent duplicate sections will be cancelled without notification. If this error occurs more than once, a hold will be placed on the student account. Please contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance if this occurs.
- Prerequisite requirements must be met prior to registration. Students without the appropriate prerequisite risk being dropped from a course without notice. Students who believe they may have an equivalent prerequisite may apply for a prerequisite waiver. Please contact the Faculty advising office for more information.
- Graduate Students are required to maintain continuous registration for the 12 months of the academic year, which is comprised of three terms (Summer, Spring, and Fall), throughout their program. Register in a thesis course using the program major as the subject code and the level of study (i.e., Master’s program or Doctoral program) as the course number (e.g., ANTH 6000 – Thesis; ART 6002 – Thesis; MUSIC 6002 – Written Thesis; CHEM 6000).Open Studies registration opens April 16th, 2016 for Summer session courses and August 1, 2016 for Fall Courses.
