Are you enthusiastic about helping U of L students succeed? Do you have an hour or so to spare (yeah, we know…) every month between September and June? If this describes you, why not think about volunteering on the SOS (Supporting Our Students) committee? We’re a fun-loving group who are passionate about promoting the SOS campaign on campus, and we are on the hunt for new membership from across campus!
The only criteria for SOS committee membership are (1) You must be committed to helping U of L students succeed, and (2) You must be (or become) an SOS donor (the amount isn’t critical, the fact that you give is more important). You’ll attend one meeting a month (approximately an hour per meeting) and one or two subcommittee meetings throughout the year – nothing too onerous. There are also opportunities to promote the campaign at various events around campus, depending on your schedule.
If SOS sounds like something that just might be up your alley, please contact Lukas Neamtu (Lukas.neamtu@uleth.ca), Asheley Cowie (Asheley.cowie@uleth.ca) or Olu Awosoga (olu.awosoga@uleth.ca) for more information. We’d love to have you!
