The Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs (SACPA) is proud to announce that their 48th season is starting on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at noon in the friendly confines of their regular weekly location, Country Kitchen Catering, located at 1715 Mayor Magrath Dr. S. (lower level of the Keg). Leading off will be Jason Donev, a University of Calgary professor, who will be speaking on the topic “Are Most People Energy Illiterate?”

We welcome the general public and SACPA members to attend this session and other upcoming SACPA events throughout the year. The session format features 30 minutes for each presentation with lunch and a question period starting at noon. The cost is $11, which includes lunch and no registration necessary - tickets are available at the door. Starting this season, we are making limited space available for those who plan to stay for the 30 minute talk at a cost of $2, including coffee.

Check the SACPA website for further details as we look forward to another exiting season of provocative, educational and issue-based sessions which offer plenty of opportunity to ask important questions of the speakers.
