The blast of wintery weather southern Alberta is experiencing is playing havoc with the USPORTS Women's National Rugby Championships being played at the University's Community Stadium.

Early Friday, officials postponed the day's games and shuffled the schedule to best accommodate the programs in advance of the medal rounds.

The new schedule now sees the tournament semifinal games moved to Saturday afternoon at 12 and 2 p.m. Those games will feature Calgary vs. Ottawa and Laval vs. St. Francis Xavier.

The host Pronghorns will now play their consolation semifinal on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. in advance of the 1 p.m. bronze medal game and 3 p.m. gold medal game. The other consolation semifinal will be played on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m., pitting Acadia vs. Queen's. There will no longer be a fifth-place consolation final.
