Yesterday the University became aware of a YouTube video – relating to the dismissal of a professor - that contained concerning content. We are currently undertaking a risk assessment, involving our professional partners as necessary. Out of an abundance of caution the University is contacting individuals on campus that are most impacted and is posting this public message. We will continue to assess this situation and will take additional action as appropriate.
It is important to know that we do not have any reason to believe our campus community is at risk and while the University may undertake some steps to mitigate any possible risk, general operations will continue as normal.
