University of Lethbridge Pronghorn Athletics expresses its sincere concern and well wishes to men’s basketball forward Brent Watkins and his family following a tragic accident this past weekend.
Watkins, a fifth-year post beginning his third season at the U of L, was traveling back to Alberta from visiting family in his native California when he was involved in a single vehicle rollover near Butte, MT. He is currently in hospital with serious injuries and his family is by his side.
Well wishes for Watkins’ speedy recovery can be sent to the ICU Unit St. James Health Centre in Butte, Montana.. Pronghorn teammate Jared Baker initiated a gofundme page to raise funds to assist Watkins and his family with expenses as they deal with this ordeal.
