Planned water shutdown in University Library Building Monday Nov. 12

What is this notice about?

The University Facilities department will be doing a shutdown of the domestic cold water system in the University Library building (LINC). This shutdown will impact all users of the entire building

 

When will this happen?

The shutdown of the domestic cold water supply is planned for Monday, November 12, 2018 starting at 5 a.m. and ending by 4 p.m.

 

Who is affected and how?
All users of the University Library building will be impacted. The building effectively needs to be closed due to health and safety concerns of a building without water for washrooms or fire suppression.

 

Why will this happen?
This shutdown is necessary to add a water line in the building.

 

How does it affect me?
If you work anywhere in the University Library building, you will not be able to do your work in the building as it will be closed during the planned shutdown.
