New Digital Collection: Castle and Castle Wildland Provincial Parks Herbarium

This notice is from the archives of The Notice Board. Information contained in this notice was accurate at the time of publication but may no longer be so.

The Castle and Castle Wildland Provincial Parks Herbarium currently includes approximately 650 specimens of vascular plants from that region and is being added to frequently as new collections are made. It is used primarily in identifying plants for resource conservation activities and to track the presence of invasive species. It will provide an inventory of the flora of the parks as it exists shortly after the official designation of the park in 2017 and is being developed from collections made by students at the University of Lethbridge herbarium beginning during the summer of 2018. To view more digital collections, click here.
