Total Contract Salary: $600.00
The Lethbridge Public Interest Research Group (LPIRG) is looking for a motivated, self-directed applicant for a short-term contract position to build a new LPIRG website using the website builder, Wix. The successful applicant will design the layout of the website, ensure that all media and forms can be easily accessed, and work closely with the executive director of LPIRG to finalize and upload all necessary content.
Candidate requirements:

Experience with website design or website building (e-commerce experience is welcomed)

Comfortable using web-based tools like social media accounts, google forms, Mailchimp and Google Drive

Comfortable working independently with strong time management skills

Comfortable teaching other individuals how to navigate the back end of the website, upload content, etc.

Experience with content writing

Ability to work from home, with access to phone and computer

No minimum education is required
This project is budgeted to be completed in 30 hours, work to commence between July 11 and August 29. This project offers flexible work hours and flexible work weeks.
