Please be advised that on June 6, an asbestos removal will be conducted in University Hall level 8 (C872, C884). Rooms will be closed for remediation and will be cleared after each room has been completed. Spaces will be inaccessible during the actual abatement and marked with signage.
Removal will be completed consistent with the requirements of the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code and performed by trained and certified workers pursuant to the required code of practice to ensure that there is no health risk to the public or workers. Air clearance samples will be taken by an independent environmental technologist and the reports will be posted on Campus Safety’s website.
