Wait-List dates for Fine Arts students wishing to enroll in courses for Spring 2017 will be available ONLINE ONLY starting Wednesday November 30th, until Wednesday December 7th.

Will the Faculty of Fine Arts accept your request?

We are unable to accept every request for aid in registering for a certain course. The Faculty of Fine Arts Advising Office will accept your wait-list request if you have met the following criteria:

• You attempted to register in your initial registration window.
• Fine Arts Student Advising will only accept your request within the wait-list period indicated on the online submission form
• The course(s) must be required in your major (or declared minor) and your program. Faculty of Fine Arts students may be wait-listed for Fine Arts courses outside their major. Electives and GLER course requests will not be accepted. Major courses that are not specifically required in your program (i.e. when you have a choice of courses) will have a low priority.
• The prerequisite(s) for a requested course must be completed. If prerequisites are not completed a prerequisite waiver must be received by this office before a wait-list request is accepted.
• We will not accept a wait-list request if registration in this course will put you over the allowed maximum number of courses (e.g. 5 for students in Good Standing, 4 for students on Academic Probation). You may inform us if you are willing to drop a course if we can get you into the requested course.
• There must be room in your schedule for the requested course (i.e. we will not add a course if there is a time conflict). Again, you may inform us if you are willing to drop a course in order to fit in the requested course.
• You must continue to attempt to register in the course yourself via The Bridge (web registration system). If you are not attempting to register yourself, we will not attempt to find additional space in the requested course.
