Equitrac/Follow-You Printing Update – Scan to Me, Print Client Software
What is this notice about?
Issues that ensued after the Equitrac upgrade on Tuesday, August 22 have now been resolved. Scan to Me is now operational, along with Follow-You print and copy.
New Print Client Software is also available.
What’s changed?
You will now need to use the “campus on anc-printing1”print queue rather than the “Follow-You on printserver” and “Follow-You Colour on printserver” for printing to Follow-You. No documents will be available to release if you use the Follow-You queues.
For those logged onto the uleth domain, a restart of your computer should automatically load the new campus print queue to your available printers.
The new print queue can be used to print both black & white and colour files. By default, the print queue will be set to print black & white and two sided printing. If you do not change any settings, your colour document will print and be charged as black & white.

Who will be affected and how?
This upgrade also introduces new print client software, which impacts Mac or PC users that use the existing client software. If you are normally prompted for credentials when printing, then Follow-You printing will no longer work.
Anyone that requires the new client software reinstalled on their computer should contact the IT Solution Centre, Management Tech Services or Education Tech Services to arrange a time for this installation to take place.
NEW – As an alternative, you can now use the HotSpot Print application (printing.uleth.ca). This is a web based application that allows you to upload files for print and release them at any Follow-You Ricoh device.
