Emergency Power Test for UH/UCA

Emergency Power Test for UH/UCA

We are required by code to test the operation of the UCA elevators while they are operating on emergency power.  All emergency lighting and power loads in UH and UCA will be transferred to the emergency generator on Wednesday February 18, 2015 @ 0600 hours. 

The transfer (normal to emergency and emergency to normal) will cause an interruption of power for about 10 seconds.  Expect to see night lighting flicker and equipment on emergency circuits momentarily loose power for these durations. 

Testing of the elevators is expected to take about one hour.

Regular building power will not be affected.
