& Monthly Fire Alarm Speaker Tests

IMPORTANT NOTICE: EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM – FULL TEST THIS MONTH

A Full Test of the Emergency Notification System will be conducted on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at approximately 12:05 p.m. and will involve campus-wide text and audio messages to the University VoIP phone system, email, U of L Twitter, U of L app, and the U of L website, and fire alarm speakers (as available).

The Campus Fire Alarm Speaker Tests will be conducted at the following Dates and Times. Be Aware & Prepared!

This TEST is being conducted to ensure that the Fire Alarm Speakers and System is functioning.

Campus Incident Response Team (CIRT) members are requested to check their areas during testing to ensure the Fire Alarm Speakers are functioning, messages are clear; the alarm is audible and distinct; strobe lights within respective areas are flashing, and the hallway doors close (if applicable).

You will hear a pre-tone alert followed by a message. Listen to the message and follow the instructions.
