The first shovels are in the ground as the University of Lethbridge prepares to begin construction on the Destination Project Science and Academic Building.

On Thursday, October 15, work to prepare for the Construction Office Complex for the Destination Project began at a site north of the Markin Hall quad. The work includes preparations for the long-term site offices and will immediately house the Destination Project office staff in construction trailers.

Currently, the Destination Project office is located in the Office of Research and Innovation Services in University Hall.

As required, construction barricades and other safety measures have been put in place and will remain throughout the course of the project. Please respect safety signage and construction flag persons relating to this site for your safety and theirs.

Any questions or concerns can be directed to: Destination Project Office, 403-332-4660.
