Condolence Notice — Raymond Eagle Bear

The University of Lethbridge extends its heartfelt condolences to Kyla Crow, wife of Raymond Eagle Bear, and to his family and friends following his passing March 22 in Cardston at the age of 53.

Eagle Bear was a student at the U of L in the Open Studies program and was taking courses in Addictions Counselling.

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 31 at the White Calf Hall in Standoff. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 1 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the Blood Reserve.

In honour of Eagle Bear, the U of L will lower both its flag and the Blackfoot Confederacy flag.

We know many members of our community will grieve the loss of this student.
