The University extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Warren, who passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the age of 83.
He and his wife Barbara were donors to the University of Lethbridge and John also served on the ULethbridge Senate from July 1, 1981 to June 30, 1987.
Originally from England, John and Barbara came to Canada as newlyweds. They lived in Calgary for 13 years before they and their three daughters chose Lethbridge for their next home, moving to the city in 1976. A full obituary is available online at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
A private family service is to be held at a later date. In honour of John, the University will lower its flags on Wednesday, January 11.
