The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends, fellow students and instructors of Emily Sanche, a ULethbridge Master’s of Education student, who passed away in Saskatoon, Sask. on March 16 at the age of 25.
Sanche completed high school in Saskatoon and attended Olds College following graduation, where she completed a diploma in fashion apparel. She went on to study psychology at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2020. Sanche had nearly completed her first year in the counselling psychology major. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. at The Cathedral of the Holy Family in Saskatoon. In honour of Sanche, the University will lower its flags on Friday, April 1 and through the weekend.
