The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Dr. Ronald Parton, who passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, Aug. 13 at the age of 82.
Parton was an associate professor in the Department of Sociology from 1969 to 1982. Born in Colorado, he attended the University of Idaho and taught in the United States for several years before he joined the U of L. He was loved by his students and known as a kind and caring instructor. A full obituary is available online.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and this notice will be updated when more information is available.
