The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the friends and family of Bradley (Brad) Neubauer, who passed away in Medicine Hat on July 16 at the age of 59.
Neubauer, who served on the ULethbridge Senate from 2011 to 2014, grew up on the family farm near Irvine. After studying political science and obtaining a degree at the University of Calgary, he returned to the farm and managed the cow-calf operations. He was an avid reader and active community member, serving on many boards and committees. Neubauer was a gifted musician and part of Medicine Hat Musical Theatre for many years.
According to his obituary, a celebration of life is to be held this fall. In honour of Neubauer, the University will lower its flags on Thursday, Aug. 11.
