The University of Lethbridge extends its heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Alysha Ramus (BN ’20), who passed away on Wednesday, July 15 at the age of 25.
Alysha and her story captivated our attention during convocation. Because of her illness — Stage 4 cardiac angiosarcoma — Alysha couldn’t complete the last semester of her nursing program and wouldn’t likely be able to participate in convocation. She’d accumulated enough course credits to graduate, so the Faculty of Health Sciences brought a special graduation ceremony to her on March 11.
